Mrs. Eula Newman age 84 of Attalla passed away Friday November 27th at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday December 2nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Van Pelt officiating, burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons
Survivors Include sons, Clifford D. (Carolyn) Newman of Albertville and Curtis B. (Maria) Newman of Valencia, Spain; daughter, Shirley (Charles) Mauney of Gaylesville; sons-in-law, Howard Lewis of Rome, Ga. and Larry Thurman Of Gadsden; sister, Ressie Lee Jackson of Stark, Fl.; 19 Grandchildren; 75 Great-Grandchildren; 40 Great-Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Edward Newman; daughters, Beverly Jean Newman Heard, Brenda Ellen Newman Lewis and Laura Lee Newman Thurman; brother, Ralph Ray Dowling; sister, Judith Dowling Wiemar; son-in-law, Willie Eugene Heard; sister-in-law, Joyce Dowling; granddaughter, Cristina Newman; great-grandson, Barry Hobgood.
Mrs. Newman was a native of Miami, Fl. and the daughter of the late Ressie T. and Myrtle Lee Anderson Dowling and a member of the James Memorial Baptist Church.
