Mrs. Glenda Sue Highfield Couey,age 55 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, November 25th at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Friday, November 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Max Tucker and Rev. Billy Vines officiating; burial will follow in Providence Cemetery on Hwy 411. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 until 2:PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers includeSteve Garner, Leon Crawford, Allen Couey, Sammy Highfield, Don Lanham, Gary Abernathy.
Honorary Pallbearers include her cousins.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Couey; brothers, Terry (Linda) Highfield of Piedmont, AL, Michael (Janet) Highfield of Centre, AL; sisters, Lynn (Leon) Crawford of and Denise (Steve) Garner of Centre, AL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Couey was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Norman JC and Sue Patty Highfield and she was a member of Community Chapel Church.
In lieu of food or flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Cemetery Fund.
