Mrs. Juanita Tierce, age 72 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, June 29th at Riverview Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tierce will be 3: PM Sunday, July 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Noah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tierce’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Noah Cemetery Fund.

Mrs. Tierce is survived by a chosen son; Curly Tierce of Centre, sisters; Nelma Ann Guice of Cedar Bluff, Jacqueline Hill of Hokes Bluff, and Marcella (Randy) Whorton of Anniston, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Tierce was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Tierce, and son Delaney R. Tierce.

Mrs. Tierce was a native of Cherokee County the daughter of the late William “Jack” and Mary Copeland Chandler. She was retired from Leesburg Yarn and a member of Noah Baptist Church.
