MRS. LAVETTE JEAN CLEMENTS age 63 of Centre passed away Saturday at her residence.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 P.M. in Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Crane and Bro. Harold Oneal officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Monday.

Pallbearers include: Charlie Reed, Austin Reed, Kevin Gowens, Tony  Pettitt, Bart Gowens, and Larry Bates.

Survivors: husband, Terry Wayne Clements, Centre, sons, Sherman Dean (Joyce) Reed Jr., Eddie Duane (Colleen) Reed, Hokes Bluff, David Lavern (Julie) Reed , Hokes Bluff, Daughter, Lydia Maria (Dale) Pruitt, Centre , sister, Betty Ann Gowens, Centre, 8 Grand children and nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Mack Locklear and Iva Lee Hardy, preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Payne and a brother –in-law Bobby Gowens and a member of Tennala Baptist Church.
