Mrs. Myra Kay Hendon Bell age 61 of Centre passed away Friday August 28th at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday August 29th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roger Whorton officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Saturday.
Pallbearers include Russ Mitchell, Bill Mitchell, Neal Bell, Dan Bell, Johnny Williams and Michael Peek.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Bell of Centre; son, Kevin Weaver of Centre; daughter, Shannon Weaver (Russ) Mitchell; grandchildren, Destiny, Melissa and Mason Weaver, Jack and Grayson Mitchell; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bell was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late C.C. “Jett” and Esther “Jack” Gross Hendon and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
