Mrs. Sadie Agan Keener, age 85 of Leesburg passed away on Tuesday June 20th at Gadsden Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday June 22nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The Eulogy will be given by family members, burial will be 10 AM Friday at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Survivors include daughters, Sarah (Ken) Decker of Leesburg, Edna Brown of Ohatchee and Glenda (Harold) Brown; brothers, Milford (Kathy) Agan of Rome, Ga. and W.L. (Mary) Agan of Rome, Ga.; sisters, Hope Nelson of Leesburg, Rebecca (Frankie) Smith of Rome, Ga.; 5 grandchildren, Bart (Mandy) Moore, Stephanie (Adam) Maroney, Clint (Hannah) Decker, Kaci (Brian) Lowe and James (Carla) Brown; chosen grandchildren, Jeremy Crane and Tony Callatine; 8 great-grandchildren, Madison, Lexi and Breanna Moore, Allie Rogers, Brooklyn and Charlee Maroney, Josh Decker and John Edward Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Keener; daughter, Bobbie Holderfield; brother, Calvin Agan; sisters, Joyce Cromer and Opal Freeman; grandson, Shane Moore and great-grandson, William Moore.
Mrs. Keener was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Walter Franklin and Jessie Lee Prater Agan.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
