Mrs. Sybil Erline Myer, 93 of Ft Payne, passed away Saturday, August 27th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Tuesday, August 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Killian officiating; burial will follow in Tucker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:PM Monday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include M.O. “Tuck” Tucker, Josh Meadows, Lee Lumpkin, Lyle Myer, Billy Fox, AllenHufstetler.
Survivors include daughters, Cheryl (Mickey) Chesnut of Fort Payne, Betty (Coy) Pollard of Leesburg; one brother, Hershal Hufstetler of Geraldine; 4 grandchildren, Carey (Stacey) Chesnut, Ginger (Michael) Bearden, Brent (Miranda) Pollard, Jessica Wickham; and 5 great grandchildren, Jacob Chesnut, Jonothon Chesnut, Carleigh Bearden, Brayden Pollard, Tucker Wickham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Myer.
Mrs. Myer was a native of Dekalb County, the daughter of the late Thomas Wesley and Vada Lucinda Arthur Hufstetler and was a member of Tucker’s Chapel Methodist Church.
