Authorities have released the name of a man found dead in a home near Albertville this past Thursday.
Police believe that 22-year old Willie Harris Coleman Jr. of Tuskegee was murdered, although an official cause of death has not yet been released.
According to previous reports, an individual had gone to the home on Valley View Drive to check on someone, but called police when no one came to the door.
The woman who lives at the residence was reportedly away in California, with a friend taking care of the residence for her.
A family member of the homeowner told investigators, that the person found inside the home did not live there and another person said the man was (quote) “a nice person who had moved here to better himself” (end-quote).
