JACKSONVILLE —Spring Garden’s Lady Panthers will advance to the Northeast Alabama Regional Championship Game after a convincing win over Talladega County Central on Friday night at Pete Matthews Coliseum at Jacksonville State University.
Tykeah Rogers led the scoring for Coach Ricky Austin’s Lady Panthers with 19 points and 17 rebounds marking her 17 double-double of the year.
Spring Garden cruised past Talladega County Central 64-32 in Friday’s second 1A girl’s semifinals.
Spring Garden (31-2) will play Woodville (22-7) in Tuesday’s 5 p.m. final in Jacksonville State University’s Pete Mathews Coliseum. The winner will advance to the state semifinals in Birmingham.
