New E-Mail Scam Using UPS Delivery Name

Be on the lookout for a potentially dangerous e-mail scam. On Monday morning WEIS Radio received an e-mail claiming to be associated with UPS Delivery services – and in the body of that letter the sender claimed that our item arrived April 23rd, but their courier was unable to deliver the parcel.  The Subject Line reads Delivery problem, parcel UPS #2375687

The message, which purports to be from UPS Mail Delivery Clerk Tommy Prince, goes on to say that more details can be found in the e-mail attachment.

Nah, don’t think so.

#1, we’re NOT expecting anything from UPS Delivery – and #2, we are definitely NOT in the market for a virus.

The attachment will NOT be opened and the e-mail WILL be deleted.

Problem solved.
