Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader put out an alert to warn everyone about the dangerous new brand of synthetic drug called “Crazy Clown” that could show up on area store shelves – the drug has reportedly caused life-threatening symptoms among eight people in Brunswick, Georgia already.

Schrader is urging everyone to notify law enforcement if they see any store selling that particular brand of synthetic drug.

The eight people taken to the hospital in Brunswick, had each ingested the new “Herbal Incense” by the name of “Crazy Clown”, and suffered such symptoms as nausea, vomiting, dry-mouth and cardiac problems; some subjects were actually unable to move for a period of time.

Several users were admitted to intensive care and placed on life-support.   

the store found to be selling the product has turned over its entire supply to the Brunswick/Glynn County Police Departments.

The drug has been sent to the crime lab for testing – and at this time, its active ingredient remains unknown.
