A northwest Georgia man was arrested on drug and stolen weapons charges on Wednesday after he left the scene of an accident on Highway 411.  According to Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship when Officer Daniel Wooten arrived at the scene a passerby stated that a black male had gotten into a blue jeep, and left, heading south on 411.

Officer Wooten soon spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop; the suspect, identified as 27 year old Faron Antwone Burke of Rome, Georgia – was detained and taken back to the scene of the accident.
