UPDATED|One Airlifted, One Other Injured In Two Vehicle Accident In Cedar Bluff

One person was airlifted to a trauma center and another was transported to the hospital by ambulance after being injured in a two vehicle crash in Cedar Bluff on Saturday.

According to Cedar Bluff Police reports, a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by 30 year old Chris Beck of Cedar Bluff was traveling south on Highway 9 when a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo driven by 25 year old Justin Head of Gaylesville failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of Beck’s vehicle, causing him to hit Head’s vehicle on the driver’s side door causing the vehicle to overturn its side.

55 year old Timothy Cromer of a Gaylesville address was airlifted to Erlanger by Med Evac Helicopter while 24 year old Britney Carmon was transported Floyd Medical Center in Rome by Cherokee EMS.

The mishap occurred at 6:44 p.m. Saturday and remains under investigation by Cedar Bluff Police.

Cedar Bluff Police & Firefighters, along with Rescue Personnel and Cherokee EMS responded to the scene.
