One Hurt in Highway 411 Wreck Wednesday Morning

One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning on Highway 411 north between County Roads 695 and 162.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the crash took place at 5:45am and it involved a 2013 Mazda, being driven by Edward Burton, age 18 of Gaylesville and a 2003 Toyota being driven by 37 year old Mark Blaylock of Centre.

It appears one of the vehicles rolled over into a ditch following impact.

McCord’s Fire Department and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.

Burton was listed on the report as being hurt in the mishap while Blaylock escaped injury – no additional information regarding the extent of Burton’s injuries was available.

That accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
