One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon in Cherokee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at 5:35pm on County Road 43 and involved a 2012 Ford driven by a 17 year old Rome Georgia resident, Emily Brown.
She escaped injury; however a 12 year old juvenile was listed on the report as being hurt in the mishap; no additional information regarding the extent of those injuries was noted.
The juvenile was wearing a seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
