One Person Injured During Crash of Small Aircraft in Rome

Rome Crash 1One person was reportedly injured, during the crash of an experimental aircraft in Rome on Monday afternoon.

According to the Rome Police Department that person’s injuries were only minor.

That crash occurred just moments after the plane, reportedly a 1986 Teratorn Tierra II, left from Richard B. Russell Airfield in Floyd County.

An investigation is being conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration.
