One person was transported to a Rome Hospital after the vehicle she was riding in was rear-ended by a log truck on Alabama Highway 9 in front of the Country Store in Cedar Bluff at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Department in addition to Cherokee EMS responded to the scene, the roadway was shutdown for a short period of time as firefighters and paramedics removed the victim from the vehicle and washed glass out of the road.
