One Person Treated For Smoke Inhalation After Stove Fire At Cherokee Manor Apartments

One person was treated for smoke inhalation on Thanksgiving Day after the victims stove caught fire at the Cherokee Manor Apartments off of Northwood Drive in Centre.

Centre Firefighters were dispatched to the scene after Cherokee 911 received the call just after 5:00 – the caller stated that her stove had caught fire from the oven and that she had extinguished the fire but needed firefighters to make sure it was out.

Cherokee EMS Paramedics treated the victim at the scene and no other injuries were reported.

Centre Police were also dispatched to the scene.
