According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, an arrest has been made regarding a local business called “Initially Pink” operating on Facebook.
The Sheriff’s Office has received numerous complaints, and one victim filed a report after ordering and paying for items online but not receiving the merchandise.
30-year old Danielle Kay Ashley of Centre is charged with third degree theft by deception.
Ashley has been released on bond.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging everyone to do research regarding any company, or individual, that they may consider doing business with – BEFORE they buy.
