Orbix Hot Glass One of the Nominees in the Martha Stewart American Made Contest

OrbixOrbix Hot Glass is in the running for a prestigious award, having recently been named one of the nominees in the Martha Stewart American Made contest.

Martha Stewarts’s website describes the contest as being one that (quote) “spotlights the maker – supports the local – and celebrates the homemade.” (end-quote).

Orbix Hot Glass – nestled atop Lookout Mountain – has been in business since 2002.  Owner Cal Breed discovered the art of glass blowing back in 1994 and has since become known across the U.S. for his incredible works of art.

There will be one winner in each of six categories in the Martha Stewart American Made contest – food, craft, design, style, garden and technology; there will be one grand prize winner who will receive $10,000 and a trip for two to New York City to attend the American Made workshop and will be the subject of a feature on marthastewart.com.

You can vote for Orbix Hot Glass up to six times a day, by visiting the Martha Stewart website at marthastewartamericanmade.com – and clicking the appropriate link.

Voting continues through September 13th.
