Overnight Fire Destroys A Mobile Home In Cedar Bluff

Cedar Bluff Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of mobile home fire just after 1:30 Saturday morning, firefighters arrived at the location on County Road 905 off of County Road 667 to find the structure already on the ground.

According to the Cedar Bluff Fire Department firefighters spent over two hours putting out hotspots which included having to remove several pieces of large tin from the roof.

Cherokee Electric Co-op crews also responded to the scene to shut off the power to the structure, there was no one at home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department.

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deputies were also called to the scene and the fire is currently under investigation.
