Gadsden Police arrested two individuals on burglary charges, after catching them in the act early Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to a burglary call shortly before 8:00am, at a residence in the 900 block of Litchfield Avenue and while checking the doors to the home, they heard a noise inside.
Police managed to grab one man on the street and a second man soon located elsewhere – and inside the home they found a black leather bag, gloves and a screwdriver – along with a variety of items including watches, rings, diamond earrings, a DVD player, a computer and a camera.
34 year old Travis Tharon Calvert of Huntsville and 32 year old Bryston O’Neal Hoskey of a Gadsden address were both arrested and charged with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree.
Calvert also faces a Probation Violation.
Both men are being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
