Pair Arrested on Burglary Charges After Being Caught in the Act

Gadsden Police arrested two individuals on burglary charges, after catching them in the act early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a burglary call shortly before 8:00am, at a residence in the 900 block of Litchfield Avenue and while checking the doors to the home, they heard a noise inside.

Police managed to grab one man on the street and a second man soon located elsewhere – and inside the home they found a black leather bag, gloves and a screwdriver – along with a variety of items including watches, rings, diamond earrings, a DVD player, a computer and a camera.

Calvert34 year old Travis Tharon Calvert of Huntsville and 32 year old Bryston O’Neal Hoskey of a Gadsden address were both arrested and charged with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree.

HoskeyCalvert also faces a Probation Violation.

Both men are being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
