Two Piedmont men have been arrested after allegedly stealing a dump truck.
Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says 24 year old Cody Lee Fain and 26 year old James Douglas Moyer were taken into custody after Fain reportedly stole a dump truck – which he gave to Moyer, who drove it to a fire department and left it there.
It was later recovered from that location.
Fain was charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree and Moyer was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree; both also face the misdemeanor charge of Theft of Property 4th Degree for stealing and pawning a pressure washer.
Bond for both was set at $6,000 with Fain later bonding out; Moyer remains behind bars.
