Piedmont Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges in Floyd County

Tate from PiedmontA Piedmont woman landed behind bars in northwest Georgia, after initially being pulled over for a traffic violation on Loop One in Floyd County.

According the Rome News-Tribune – 28 year old Brittney Danielle Tate was stopped by officers for failure to maintain lane – and afterwards they found an open alcoholic beverage inside the car and several spoons coated with a white substance believed to be morphine.  They also discovered syringes in the vehicle.

Tate was driving without proof of insurance and on a suspended license as well.

She was booked into the Floyd County Jail on charges of – possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, driving under the influence of multiple substances, driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane, open container violation, driving with no insurance and driving with no tail lights.
