Pisgah Woman Fatally Injured in Cherokee County Wreck

One person was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle accident – taking place Wednesday night in Cherokee County.

According to Alabama State Trooper reports the driver of the 1993 Jeep, identified as 66 year old Judith P. Jackson of a Pisgah address, was fatally injured in that crash, while the passenger in the vehicle, 15 year old Chase Jackson of a Rome Georgia address was transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.

The wreck occurred at 11:45pm approximately, seven miles north of Gaylesville on Highway 35.

That accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
