President Obama on Lewd Donald Trump Tape: 'That's Not Right'

The White House(GREENSBORO, N.C.) — Campaigning in North Carolina Tuesday, President Barack Obama criticized Donald Trump for a recently surfaced tape in which the GOP presidential nominee made lewd comments about women and bragged about groping them.

“You don’t have to be a husband or a father to hear what we heard just a few days ago and say that’s not right. You just have to be a decent human being to say that’s not right,” the president said in Greensboro, North Carolina. “If it makes you mad, then you say that’s not somebody I want representing the United States of America. You can do something about it, North Carolina.”

In the recording, obtained by The Washington Post and published Friday, Trump is heard talking about how he tried to have an affair with a married woman and describing how he makes moves on women.

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” Trump can be heard saying on the tape.

“And when you’re a star they let you do it. … You can do anything,” he says, adding later, “Grab them by the p—-.”

Trump later said he was “wrong” for making the vulgar comments.
