“There were a lot of interesting movie offers that came my way but nothing that sort of blew my mind,” she tells ABC Radio’s GMA After Hours, “…because whatever was coming to me was sort of stereotypical of what either a ‘pretty girl’ would be, or ‘a girl from Bollywood’ would be.”
Chopra wants, “to always do something from the left, not expected,” she explained. “So when I took on Baywatch,I was most excited about the fact that it was written for a man, my part. And then after I spoke to Seth Gordon, who is the director, he just loved the idea of me being the villain.”
“And Baywatch is one of my favorite shows! It’s a full circle to be back in it! I’m just so evil that it’s delectable,” she smiles. “It’s like [playing] Snow White’s evil stepmom.”
Chopra joked, “America will hate me after Baywatch,” considering how many fans love The Rock and his co-starZac Efron.
