The remains found near Jackson Shoals last November (2014), have now been identified as those of a missing Calhoun County woman.
42 year old Theresa Andrews Benn Dulaney, was reported missing October 19th, following the Geico 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Her identity was confirmed through DNA analysis.
Authorities say the death is being investigated as a homicide, although they have yet to say what the cause of death was.
