Cherokee County Revenue Commissioner Dustin St. Clair, recently paid a visit to the studios of WEIS Radio to discuss the property tax deadline, homestead exemptions and much more, including the new look to this year’s tax bills:

St. Clair also urges anyone not familiar with Homestead Exemptions to find out more, and if eligible, apply for the tax break provided.  He also discussed Disability Exemptions which in some cases, may save people money.

He also touched on some of the ways that the Revenue Commissioner’s Office has managed to cut back on expenses, making the overall operation more efficient; and his staff members whom he is very proud of for the dedication they’ve shown, in doing everything they can, to help everyone who walks through the door.

St. Clair stressed that he fully understands that paying taxes is NEVER fun – however he and his staff will do everything to make it as painless as possible.
