The driver of a Jeep Cherokee was lucky to escape serious injury after a rollover crash on County Road 22 Sunday morning.
The wreck occurred just before 9:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of 22, just past Pine Grove Baptist Church.
The Jeep ended up on its top in a culvert.
The exact injuries sustained by the driver are not known, but once again, they did not appear to be serious.
The Alabama State Patrol is investigating the accident and we’ll have more details on Monday.
Two people were hurt in a single vehicle rollover on County Road 22 Sunday morning – just past Pine Grove Baptist Church.
According to the Alabama State Trooper accident report, the wreck occurred at 9:15am involving a 1997 Jeep being driven by 44 year old Centre resident, Regina Brock; Both she and a passenger in the vehicle, 41 year old Jeffery Turner, were listed as being hurt in the mishap.
No additional details were available however, eyewitnesses said it appeared that neither Brock or Turner appeared to be seriously hurt.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
