A Rome woman was jailed after she allegedly attacked a pregnant nurse – at Floyd Medical Center on Monday.
The 19 year old woman, who was identified as Monique Sherina Fleming, is also accused of making threats against the unborn child and against another hospital employee; once at the jail, she allegedly attacked a female jailer, striking her in the face and head several times.
Fleming has been charged with two felony counts of Terroristic Threats & Acts, with Willful Interference with a Medical Professional and with Battery against a Pregnant Person, in the incident at the hospital. She was additionally charged with felony Battery and Obstruction, stemming from the incident at the jail.
