Rome Man Charged With Impersonating A Police Officer

A 24-year old Rome man is facing charges after allegedly impersonating a police officer.

According to arrest reports at the Floyd County Jail, Tyrease Rashun Creamer, of a Chambers Street address, drove to a location on West 13th Street.

He allegedly identified himself as a police officer to the victim and a witness then would not leave them leave.

Creamer is charged with impersonating a public officer or employee, false imprisonment and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
