A Rome resident, charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Child Molestation in July, has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
According to documents filed this week in U.S. District Court in Rome – 34 year old Stephen Michael Hipple currently faces three counts of child pornography – and one count of sexual exploitation of a child; he is accused of using his iPhone to take sexually explicit pictures of a child under the age of 12 – and sharing those pictures.
Hipple is also accused of having child pornography on his computer, and receiving pictures from other individuals.
He remains in the Floyd County Jail.
