Rome Man Wanted For Armed Robbery Turns Himself In

FCSO - Cooper, Darius - 07-17-2013A man has turned himself in, after being wanted for the armed robbery of the Big H convenience store in Floyd County.

27 year old Darius Cooper of Rome faces charges of felony armed robbery and is currently being held without bond.

Two men entered the convenience store on March 22nd, with one of the two then holding a knife to the clerk’s throat and demanding money and telephone cards.  A second robbery took place on May 17th, with two individuals taking cigarettes and beer.

Cooper is considered a suspect in the second robbery as well.

The other subject has yet to be identified and the investigation is on-going.
