Rome Manhunt Ends

FCSO - Sullivan, Rashad - 06-08-2013

The final suspect accused of murdering a Wheeler St. man on June 2nd has been arrested.

Rome City Police apprehended Jamarrcus Rashad Sullivan, age 26, in an East Rome apartment, where they say someone hid him from authorities.

Sullivan joined his cohorts, 31-year-old Christopher Rayshun Smith and 22-year-old Antonio Devon Jones, behind bars Saturday afternoon. All three have been charged with Murder and Armed Robbery in the shooting death of 39-year-old Kevin Daniel.

Though officials are no longer looking for anymore homicide suspects, more arrests may come to those who hindered police investigation.

Already, four people have been arrested for purposely misleading authorities.

Andrika Waddell, age 19, was charged with a felony Thursday after she reportedly destroyed evidence connected to the murder.

The next day, police arrested Christopher Smith’s wife, Dereasha Monique, for lying about the case.

Finally, two men on Heritage Way were taken into custody Saturday, after police say they deliberately fed cops false information.
