Rome Police Investigating Yet Another Case of Counterfeit Money

Rome Police CarRome Police are investigating yet another counterfeiting case.

Officers responded to the O’Neil Street location of Domino’s Pizza – where they were told by an employee that while making a delivery to McLin Street, he was paid with a twenty dollar bill and after returning to work he noticed that there were no security strips on water marks on the bill at which time he called police.

Officers went to the home to speak with the residents and during the course of the investigation, determined that there was not probable cause to make an arrest in relation to the bogus bill – but, two people at the scene were arrested after officers noticed a marijuana cigarette on the floor and found a small bag of marijuana in a purse belonging to one of the women in the home.
