A Floyd County man charged earlier this month for child pornography has been arrested on a federal warrant.
26 year old Clinton Briggs Miller of a Lovell Street address in Rome reportedly had several pictures and videos of under aged females engaged in sexual acts on his phone.
According to Detective Jeff Richerson with the Rome Police Department, one of the victims is a 14 year old female from California and another victim is a minor from the Rome area.
Richerson stated that the victims were threatened by Miller and because of the threats they contacted police. Homeland Security eventually became involved in the investigation due to the large number of pictures and videos on Miller’s cell phone.
Miller was arrested Friday on the warrant from the U.S. District Court; on September 1st he had been arrested on state warrants and charged with the sexual exploitation of children as well as computer or electronic pornography.
