Rome Woman Facing Drug Charges

A 29 year old Rome woman was charged with Possession of Drugs Behind the Guard Line after allegedly being found to be in possession of a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana, as she was being booked into the Floyd County Jail.

Officers also located a pill, believed to be Klonopin, in her possession.

Anna Tate Salmon is also facing charges of Possession of Drugs Not in their Original Container, the Possession of Less than an Ounce of Marijuana, the Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance and Theft by Shoplifting.

She is also accused of breaking a sprinkler head while in the booking cell and faces an additional charge of Interference with Government Property.
