Sand Rock came in second at the Ft Payne Invitational Tournament.

The Sand Rock volleyball team defeated Ft Payne 25-12, 18-25, 15-11 and J.O. Johnson 25-10, 25-14, losing to Saks 11-25, 25-21, 10-15.

Sand Rock defeated Briarwood in the Semi-Finals 25-21, 25-21, then lost to Arab JV 19-25, 21-25 in the Finals, after they beat Saks in the Semi-Finals.

That makes Sand Rock 23 and 15 on the season.

Madison McCullough had 43 kills, 39 digs, and 4 aces, Madison Allen had 45 digs and 4 aces, Sabryn Chandler had 42 kills and 41 digs, Courtney Williams had 58 assists, 36 digs, and 8 aces, Audrey Richardson had 36 assists, Haylie Pruitt had 11 kills, Savannah Blackwell had 7 blocks and 10 kills, August Gilliland had 8 kills.

Sand Rock will be hosting a Quad Match, at 4:00pm on Tuesday (October 13th), with Spring Garden, Cherokee County High School and Piedmont.
