In volleyball action, at Geraldine – Class 3A – Area 13 Sand Rock defeated New Hope 25-19, 25-18 and 25-17, but lost in the finals to Geraldine 25-23, 22-25, 5-25 and 23-25, which left Sand Rock with a record of 29 and 16 for the season.
