Search Continues For Woman Who Walked Away From Work Release Program

ThomasThe search continues for a woman who escaped from a Birmingham work release program Tuesday afternoon. 44 year old Tracy Renee Thomas, who was serving a 20 year sentence out of Calhoun County, was last seen around 3:00pm.

She was wearing jeans, a t-shirt which read “Fish Market” on the right side of the shirt, and white sneakers; Thomas is five-feet-eight (5’ 8”), weighs about 160 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She also has several tattoos.

Thomas was convicted in 1994 of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
