Senator Dial Given Lifetime Achievement Award by Senior Citizens Hall of Fame

Senator Gerald Dial recognized as a leader for Alabama’s senior citizens

During a recent meeting, the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame presented a lifetime achievement award to State Senator Gerald Dial (R-Lineville) for his “outstanding accomplishments and significant contributions to the lives of older American citizens.”

Senator Dial has served Alabama and her senior citizens for more than three decades in both the National Guard and the Alabama Legislature. In the Legislature, Senator Dial has been a leader for senior citizens, supporting and authoring resolutions and legislative acts to protect and serve the elderly.

“I am humbled and grateful to be honored with this lifetime achievement commendation from the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame,” Senator Dial said. “I am passionate about advocating for senior citizens, who have so much wisdom and experience to offer the people of Alabama.”

Senator Dial was nominated for the award by Linda Christy.

Senator Gerald Dial represents District 13 in the Alabama Senate, which includes all or parts of Randolph, Lee, Cleburne, Clay, Cherokee, and Chambers counties.
