Sheila Faye Rogers Adams, age 61, of Centre, passed away Sunday June 21, 2015 at her residence.

Sheila was born December 2, 2015 in Cherokee County. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Twilley Rogers, daughter Mellissa Odell, son, Calvin Gowens.

Survivors include two sons, Scottie (Mandy) Gowens, Spring Garden; Alvin Gowens, Piedmont; father, James A. (Bud) Rogers, Centre; sisters, Sue (Travis) Walls, Centre; Barbara Rogers, Centre; Ellen (Keith) Morgan, Centre; 8 grandchildren, Emily Gowens, Karly Gowens, Trent Odell, Lindsey Odell, Ethan Gowens, Dakota Gowens, Brady Gowens, and Kenyon Gowens, 2 great great children, Zaiva Gowens, Axel Gowens, several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive .

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 (Georgia Time) Wednesday June 24, 2015, At Old Nazareth Baptist Church, with Rev. Tommy Hutt, officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Highway 411 North Centre. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service on Wednesday at Old Nazareth Baptist Church.

Pallbearers include Ethan Gowens, Dakota Gowens, Brady Gowens, Kenyon Gowens, Keith Morgan, Jr., Cody Preston, and Jeffery Hammond.
