One person was apparently wounded in a Friday night shooting incident in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store in Fyffe.
Dekalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says a man and a woman were sitting in a car when they were approached by another man.
An altercation began, with the man on the outside reportedly attempting to punch the man inside.
The man in the car then grabbed his gun and shot the man outside the car three times, possibly in the chest area.
The suspected shooter is being questioned.
The victim was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
