A 54 year old Cartersville man was killed in a single-vehicle accident over the weekend in Rome

Floyd County Deputy Coroner Gene Procter has identified the victim as Grady Tant; he said that Tant’s body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab to determine an exact cause of death adding that the accident may have been caused by a medical condition.

Tant was traveling eastbound on Highway 411 from Rome toward Cartersville on Saturday night when his vehicle went across the median and westbound lanes, before crashing into the woods at the bottom of an embankment.
