A single-vehicle accident took place on Highway 68 in Leesburg at around 5:45am Monday.
Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum has informed WEIS Radio News that the driver, Tyler Jacob Everett, Jr. of Ft Payne, lost control of his 1996 Pontiac Bonneville which went off the roadway, then traveled down an embankment and rolled over totaling the vehicle and also causing damage to the guardrail.
Fortunately, Everett was unhurt in the accident.
