According to the Alabama State Troopers Post a single-vehicle accident took place just after 10:00 Monday morning on Highway 9 at the intersection of County Road 69.
Cedar Bluff resident Ben Carden, age 69, in a 2005 Toyota, was listed on accident reports as being injured in the wreck, although no additional information was available.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
