A single-vehicle rollover blocked traffic for a short time Thursday morning in Cedar Bluff.
At approximately 8:50am a pickup truck rolled over after the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle directly across from Harton’s Grocery; the truck came to rest right side up, but it suffered major damage in the accident.
A witness who was the first person on the scene said he spoke with the elderly driver of the truck and he appeared to be okay, only shaken up.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and checked the man out and it does indeed appear he escaped any serious injury in the mishap.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Cedar Bluff Police Department.
