Class 1A Cedar Bluff fell to Skyline at the North Regional Softball Qualifier. The Lady Tigers season ended with the 10-9 loss.
Class 1A, No. 2 Spring Garden blanked Belgreen 15-0 and downed Skyline 11-6. Spring Garden then defeated Decatur Heritage 6-4 to punch their ticket to the state softball tournament in Montgomery.
Class 3A Piedmont defeated Ohatchee by a score of 12-3 this morning. The Lady Dawgs then moved on to meet Glencoe. Unfortunately, Piedmont was eliminated by the Lady Jackets 6-3.
