Strong winds caused some damage at Centre Elementary School Sunday night.
Storms packing a punch in the form of high winds rolled through the area around 10:00pm, causing a metal awning over one of the walkways at the school to be peeled back.
Fortunately, no other damage occurred at the facility.
The county was not under any sort of weather warning when that incident took place and it appears to have been an isolated incident.
